Hi guys,
I got the Cutie Cravings tin as an unexpected Christmas present this year. I was really happy because it contains all of my FAVOURITE benefit cosmetics products. I have really been loving benefit in 2015, really good quality makeup and lasts a long time. Well worth the money! The tin includes a mini porefessional, four longwearing eye shadows (1 matte) a mini they’re real mascara, an ultra-plush lip-gloss in the shade fauxmance, a Hoola sample and the cute brush to go with it. Finally there is an eye shadow applicator which personally I don’t use and finally a small booklet with tips and tricks is included on how to use the makeup provided and some easy every day to night looks.

Firstly I would like to talk about the Porefessional. This is one of benefits ‘classic’ products which I am sure you have all heard of before. It is a primer which mainly targets people with oily skin. I actually have dry skin and still love this product. It does the job really well. Glides onto the skin like silk, it spreads evenly and because it has a nude, peachy tone to it, it gives the ability to be worn on its own. Minimises pores extremely well and I would definitely recommend this product as it is a true favourite of mine.
Next I am going to talk about the four eye shadows included in the tin; it’s complicated, nude swings, Quick look busy and thanks a latte. Each of the names are clearly stated by a clear plastic sheet that comes inside the tin showing you all the names of the products inside.

Above are swatches of all the eye shadows, Hoola and the lip-gloss in fauxmance. I have labelled which is which so that you can clearly identify the shades. The range of tones for they eyes are very good. I don’t normally like pinkie toned eye shadows but I feel like with this tin I can create almost any type of look I would need. I really love the fact that they have also included a darker matte shade which allows you to deepen the crease and the outer corner with ease. Although I must say my personal favourite is ‘Thanks a latte’ I love the name too. All of the shadows are very pigmented, soft, buttery and apply evenly. The shadows are extremely easy to blend and would be great for anyone just starting out with makeup.

The Hoola bronzer is defiantly one of my favourite benefit products. Even though on lighter skin tones I think it look phenomenal on medium to dark skin tones I feel like would wouldn’t show up much or even not at all. It is a matte bronzer which I like because it allows you to wear a shimmery blush/highlight without looking like a disco ball. The bronzer is not orangey at all and it is really easy to blend the colour out or build it up into a more dramatic night time look. The texture is great it doesn’t feel cakey on the skin at all and just like the eye shadows it is very buttery and long lasting.

Again the they’re real mascara is one of benefits products that it is ‘famous’ for. Almost everyone I know owns this mascara and it’s very good. It lengthens and gives volume to my lashes whist separating them at the same time. It’s very long wearing and it would be perfect for a night out. However when it does come to the time when you have to take your makeup off, the They’re real is very hard to remove. Although I do not own one myself I have heard that the remover that benefit have made specifically to remove this mascara is supposed to do the job very well however, I am yet to try it out. The last thing I would like to say about this mascara is that yes, it does separate my eyelashes but, I feel like if I do apply a second coat (which most of the time I do) my eyelashes begin to clump together during the day and start to feel very stiff. However, I only notice this some of the time so I am not sure what is causing it.

The last product in the tin is the ultra-plush lip-gloss in the colour fauxmance. This lip-gloss is not sticky at all it fells very silky on the lips It, has a gel like formula. The colour is a nude pink which means that it is perfect for everyday wear or you can dress it up with a Smokey eye for a more dramatic look.

Overall I really like this small bundle it has everything you would need if you were just starting out with makeup it is a bit pricey (£48.93) but I think it is well worth the money. If you are interested in buying the product you can find it on the official benefit website. (https://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/cutie-cravings)
